Watchmen by ALAMOSCOUT6 Watchmen by ALAMOSCOUT6
This Watchmen piece was done for a portfolio piece a while back in 2010. I wanted to mix elements of the original Moore/Gibbons designs and the movie designs. It's done with acrylics and colored pencils, all by hand, on gessoed illustration board, which is my regular illustrative technique.

Do you do all the characters and backgrounds separately and then put them together with photoshop, or is it one singular painting

It's all done by hand as one singular acrylic painting, with colored pencils and airbrush added. Thanks!
